Nicely proportioned Chippendale Birch 4 Drawer Chest with an outstanding, complex bracket base and a generously overhanging thumbnail molded top.  Original throughout but for a Victorian era resurfacing. The chest also retains its original brass hardware. Measures 35 3/4" wide.

Incredible Victorian era Crewel Spread with folky birds and flora. Measures 8 feet by 5 1/2 feet. Found in a Farmington, Maine home.

Watercolor Portrait of Robert Peary Jr. ( the son of Admiral Robert Peary) by listed American artist Edythe Laws. Measures 25 1/2" by 21 1/2" (sight). Found along with other items from Robert Peary Jr., including a signed copy of the book: Peary: The Explorer and the Man .

 

Thomas Clarkson Oliver (American 1827-1892). Oil on canvas measuring 17 1/2" by 27 1/2" (sight). Signed "Clark Oliver" and dated 1888. Likely a study for the Prang Lithography Company of Boston. See: The Lynn Beach Painters (Lynn Hist. Soc., 1998); Biography at www.askart.com . Original frame.

 
      
  Outstanding still life and farmyard portrait of fowl by unlisted late 19th century artist A.J. Barry. Still life measures 23" by 38" and the Roosters measure 22" by 25". Both are unframed and were discovered recently in an East Madison, Maine home. The quality of the work is superb. Oil on canvas. Unframed.
